Showing of the start of a lecture performance about our GPS and daily data collection practices. About privacy in a networked world, the search for a sense of the self in contemporary life, the use of technology as prosthetic and the seemingly contradictory use of technology as a device to reflect upon slowness, spirituality and the need to teach data storage technologies to forget. Let’s see what comes out.

plan b 
plan b sind die englischen Künstler Sophia New und Daniel Belasco Rogers. 
Seit 2003 (Daniel) und 2007 (Sophia) haben plan b jede tägliche Bewegung mittels GPS-Technologie aufgenommen und gespeichert. Ergebnisse davon sind in Festivals, Galerien und unter http://belasconew.com/ zu sehen. In ihrer Performancearbeit erforschen sie Themen wie die Dynamik von Gesprächen, Gesang, Geständnissen und Radfahren. Außerdem arbeiten sie in den Bereichen Performance, Installation, Neue Medien, Bildende Kunst und geben Workshops. Seit der Gründung von plan b, 2002, haben sie mehr als 25 Projekte entwickelt die in über 27 unterschiedliche Städte und zu sehen sind.
