Winona Lin

Winona Lin is the founder of Zweiart, an art collective that originated with cross-disciplinary and sound artists and continues to present live performances and the monthly Series Full Moon Experience in Berlin.

Working alongside like-minded collaborators, the collective explores the boundless possibilities of
contemporary media and expression through sound art, performance, and acoustic/electroacoustic
concerts. Formed through an organic collaborative process, their practice centers on crystallizing
the "poetics of inner language" into diverse artistic manifestations.

In her live performances and concerts, Lin weaves pre-recorded sound materials with electronic
tones, vocals, and instrumental sounds, seamlessly integrating physical vocabulary, visual media,
and interactive installations to construct immersive environments within the contemporary new
music scene.

Since 2022, artist, researcher, and curator Kari Yli-Annala (Coordinator of Nomadic Academy,
President of Harakka Artist Association) has invited her as a resident artist at the Harakka Artist
Association in Helsinki, where she participates in its annual festival every May. In December 2023,
she presented her sound installation, Life of the Pupa, at a group exhibition at the iconic
Oksasenkatu 11 gallery in Helsinki.

Based in Berlin since 2014, Winona works actively as a curator, composer, and performer. She has
pursued advanced studies and research visits at prestigious German music and art institutions,
including:
