Sandhya Daemgen
Sandhya Daemgen is a singer, dancer, musician, teacher and artist working in interdisciplinary projects with voice, sound and body. As a performer she has worked internationally a.o. for Tino Sehgal, Alexandra Pirici, Ari Benjamin Meyers and Heiner Goebbels at: Palais de Tokyo Paris, UCCA Beijing, Art Basel LISTE, The Shed New York, Manchester International Festival, Berlin Biennale, dOCUMENTA 13, Martin Gropius Bau Berlin, Stediljk Museum Amsterdam, VAC Fondation Moskau, a.o. She is a member of queer-feminist collective Altes Finanzamt in Neukölln, Berlin. From 2016-2018 she was selected as an emerging artist from Performing Arts Program Berlin (PAP). She has a degree in Cultural Studies from Wesleyan University, USA and in Dance and Choreography from the University of Art, Berlin.
