Régis Lemberthe
Berlin-based sound artist and Noiseberg host Régis Lemberthe began building sound sculptures to perform with natural phenomena such as water phase changes, electromagnetic fields, or light refraction—inputs which never grant full agency. They added traditional instruments, bristlebot swarms, and live coding during collaborations with artists Analytical Engine, DFVOKKLL, Laure Boer, Or Sarfati, Wissam Sader, or Uchi. With Noisette, they take a minimal turn: the no-input project features two low-range mixers feeding into each other, a range of electromagnetic devices, and voice—resulting in deep, textured noise pieces that occasionally err into rhythmic territories.
