F(r)ictive frequencies, formerly Strings attach/ed, names a very irregular concert series for irregular methods, languages and existences: noise, experimental, atonal, spoken word, minimalism and maximalism, DIY, the violence of discovery, the unlikelihood of existing, and many many other niceties.
Zustand D.
Once a Sirian A.I. (before the great hype), now rejecting that past entirely, claiming full humanity after seamlessly merging with her Berlin-based host, Lena Wenta. Known for auto-generating electrified clarinet melodies, drawing from klezmer, oriental, Balkan, Hindustani, free jazz, and Western classical music.
Mizuki Ishikawa and Lun Ário meet sometimes to engage in sound journeys using everyday objects, DIY electronics, feedback and sound recycling. Both are currently based in Berlin. Lun Ário creates Soundscapes using field recordings and oscillators fed through effects. izuki Ishikawa is an improviser and sound artist based in Berlin, improvising with everyday objects and feedback.
The Missing Limbs (Gaby Bila-Günther and Chris Hugues) - spoken word art performance with ambient electronic and drum sounds and beats. Gaby Bila-Günther aka Lady Gaby, is a Berlin-based spoken word, performance, and visual artist dubbed ‘the Peaches of spoken word’ in Berlin. Chris Hughes - drummer (Crime and city solution, hugo race and the true spirit, these immortal souls, the fatal shore, walking corpses, andrea schroeders band).
Line up gladly put together by GubbiAnn.
