All The Rivers

ist eine Reihe von 10 Workshops und 5 Flash-Residencies.

All The Rivers konzentriert sich auf die transformative Kraft des Austauschs und der Zusammenarbeit innerhalb und zwischen Kunst, Künstler_innen, Community, Gesellschaft und ihren Rändern. Wir sehen das Teilen von Fähigkeiten, Wissen, Einsichten und kreativen Prozessen als eine gegenseitige Wachstumsspirale. Kreativität entsteht im ständigen Dialog von Lernen und Lehren, von Äußern und Zuhören. Sowohl bei den Workshops als auch bei den Residenzen laden die Künstler_innen und Workshopleiter_innen die Teilnehmenden zu einem oder beiden ein. All The Rivers ist offen für jedes Medium und jede Disziplin innerhalb der Kunst, der Bühnentechnik und der sie umgebenden Community.

All The Rivers bietet Workshops zu einer breiten Palette von Themen an, von inklusiver, bewusster und zugänglicher Produktion und Kreation bis hin zu Licht, Ton , Instrumentenbau und Spoken Word. Im Rahmen von All The Rivers gibt es 5 Flash Residencies, kurze, produktionsorientierte Residenzen mit anschließendem öffentlichen Showing. Diese wurden öffentlich ausgeschrieben. Diese Residencies zielen darauf ab, eine öffentliche Teilhabe anzubieten - in jeder Form und jedem Medium, von der darstellenden Kunst bis hin zur bildenden Kunst, Sound oder Installationen, die darauf abzielen, das Publikum und die Gemeinschaft zu erreichen und mit ihnen in einen Dialog zu treten, als Teil des künstlerischen Prozesses und seiner Aufführung.

Aus 78 eingesandten Vorschlägen wurden 5 Künstler_innengruppen von den Jurymitgliedern Nuray Demir, Katharina Ludwig and Ece Tufan ausgewählt. Wir freuen uns die Ergebnisse bekannt zu geben!

All The Rivers Flash Residency 1: Terraform (WT)

Four FLINTAQ* people from four traditions of anticapitalist and leftist-feminist struggles of the so-called Global South - India, Bolivia-Brazil, Palestine and Peru, come together to talk about names.

Aymara, Maricarmen, Promona, Rasha and Raras conspire together, discussing how, in the past decade, the term "Global South'' has become a part of our common parlance, added to a large collection of vocabulary used by imperial states to designate our lands -- third world, Commonwealth, global majority, developing country, orient etc. These are not names or descriptors that came from us, and our communities have consistently critiqued such signifiers mandated by those nations who actively participate in neocolonial violence. As racialized FLINTAQ+ from colonized lands, we know that the differences between country/city, North/South, white/BIPOC, are not enough to describe the complexity of the violence that our bodies perceive. We have multiple resistances, daily responses to these challenges, and we articulate them collectively. We imagine that it is possible to inoculate ourselves with our diverse territorial responses, to make possible a healing encounter, to reforest our minds and our hearts in the face of the desert produced by western monoculture. By exchanging critical and politically complex narratives about the naming and renaming and re-renaming of our cities, streets, territories, under many colonizers and neocolonial national governments, we bring to light the dynamic complexities of naming as a political act. Through photography, theater, visual art, popular pedagogies, performance and history, we bring our own tools of critical analysis to the history of changing names.
